Here is a list of frequently asked questions and their answers.
Q. Do you have Public Liability Insurance? A. Yes. For $20,000,000.
Q. Have you had a working with children police check? A. Yes. Simply use the 'Child Check' link at the top of this page for more details.
Q. How many shows can you do in a school day? A. The most I have done is four (4).
Q. Can you do more than one type of show on any one day? A. Yes.
Q. Do you only do shows? A. No. In schools I have performed magic shows, strolling magic, balloon twisting and magic workshops.
Q. Do you only perform in Sydney? A. No. At times I travel all around NSW performing in schools.
Q. How are the children involved in your shows. A. Generally with some being my on stage volunteers and as an audience participating by calling out words or using specific actions. Of course there are plenty of "Ooooo's" and "Aaaaah's" and laughter too!
Q. Do you only perform at large schools? A. No I perform at small schools too. I think the smallest I performed at only had around 12 students.
Q. Do your fees change if you have to travel further? A. If it is part of a school tour I am doing with many shows booked, generally the answer is no. If a school calls for a one off show that requires a long trip then the fee will change. You can check my 'Booking & Pricing' page for current travel charges.
Q. How long in advance do we need to book you? A. It really depends on my availability at the time you contact me. Sometimes I can do a show at short notice and other times we would have to plan months, even a year, in advance.
Q. What is the largest audience you can perform to. A. It depends on the actual venue and sound system available. My largest school shows so far tend to have been to around 500 to 600 students.
Q. Do you have handouts for your shows? A. Some of my options have worksheets and informatin pages available in pdf format for class room follow up. My shows can include magic handouts/prizes for my volunteers.
Q. Can you give customised options? A. To a certain degree, yes. I can do more than one type of show on the same day and can incorporate workshops too. One school booked me to walk around classrooms and perform close up magic for students. I can be flexible if I am the right person for the job.
