"The Performances for Schools Program has been discontinued from 1 January 2010. The Department takes the view that individual School Principals and their staff are in the best position to determine which performances and presentations are age appropriate, culturally relevant, in keeping with their curriculum program and which best reflect the needs and aspirations of their parent community."

'I Love to Read' takes audiences on a magical journey that introduces them to the wonder of books. Through storytelling, magic tricks and puppetry (when appropriate), children learn that books are necessary, valuable -- and fun, too. This show teaches children that books can be a doorway into the world of the imagination, making them eager to enjoy reading.

WALK AROUND MAGIC

I have performed Walk around magic (strolling/close up magic) in schoools for special events such as a Father's day or presentation day. I pop on my magic waist coat and perform magic right under the children's noses. Lots of fun and involvement for the children. Generally I have performed this style of magic from 1 to 3 hours.

WALK AROUND BALLOON TWISTING

Walking around making balloons has been very popular. With a school full of chilfren the pace never settles. Balloons are made in a light-hearted manner with children wanting more and more. Generally this type of ballooning is in 1 to 3 hour blocks.
